Rezumat

Immediately after World War II, border protection was a priority for the Hungarian government. This area underwent intense changes in the relatively short period that led to the ratification of the Paris Peace Treaty. The situation has been complicated by poor international relations, as almost all neighboring countries have implemented certain border protection issues. The present study describes individual cases of interstate relations "in no man's land" shortly after the ratification of the peace treaty of July 1947, resulting from serious misunderstandings and institutional competition between the various military and internal affairs security authorities. This presentation, in addition to the presentation of new historical aspect of border security structuresdraws attention to the application of organizational / institutional procedures and decision-making that primarily influenced the situation on the Hungarian-Romanian border in 1947, and which had consequences tragic on ordinary people.
