Rezumat

The “Prutul de Jos” Scientific Reserve - an important part of the national and European natural heritage, includes a wide range of rare plants, some endemic to the region and a diversity of natural landscapes - important sites for the conservation of biological diversity. Of particular interest are the plant species areas, included in the Red Book of the Republic of Moldova (2015). The territories within the “Prutul de Jos” Scientific Reserve and the adjacent territories have habitats favorable to the growth and development of rare plant species, dependent on water / wet habitats, with a disjunctive area such as Thelypteris palustris, Nymphaea alba, Trapa natans, Stratiotes aloides, Salvinia natans. The fragmentary character, often in the form of a band / strip of the some species area, resulted in geological and historical time from an initial continuous area, by the appearance of barriers of hydrographic, orographic, climatic nature, etc., as is the case of rare species: Cyperus glomeratus, Vitis sylvestris. The vulnerability of species with dot area (Ranunculus lingua, Mariscus hamulosus) is induced by the very small (single) surface occupied by these plants, and by the possibility to further restrict of their populations, until total extinction, under the action of current environmental changes. In order to reduce the negative effects of current and future environmental changes on the vulnerable flora in this area, scientifically justified interventions needed: to rebuild habitats, to form ecological connection corridors between certain fragmented habitats and to expand the areas occupied by endangered species in various sectors of the Scientific Reserve.
