Over the 30th anniversary of Independence, Kazakhstan has achieved impressive success in the eld of transport: Kazakhstan has become a country with a developed transit potential and a regional logistics hub. In just the last 15 years, about $35 billion has been invested in the development of the transport industry. As a result, more than 2,7 thousand km of railways were built, 13 thousand km of highways were reconstructed, port capacities to the Caspian Sea were increased to 27 million tons, reconstruction was carried out at 18 airports (runways).e article presents the achievements of Kazakhstan in the eld of transport over the years of Independence.
