Samoregulacja (SR) jest zjawiskiem zawierającym wszystkie rodzaje regulacji Ja. Jest to wieloaspektowy i złożony konstrukt. W całościowym ujęciu SR zależna jest od koordynacji wielu procesów umożliwiających sterowanie działaniami ukierunkowanymi na cel. Niskie umiejętności samoregulacji wiążą się z szeroką gamą problemów osobistych. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie, iż wspólnym mianownikiem do kategorii sukcesu jest konsekwencja w samoregulacji. Artykuł porusza kwestie zaburzeń samoregulacji i konsekwencji jej dysfunkcji. Opisuje wielowymiarowy charakter sukcesu oraz rolę samoregulacji w drodze do osiągnięcia sukcesu życiowego. |

It is a multi-faceted and complex construct. As a whole, SR depends on the coordination of many processes enabling it to steer goal-oriented activities. Low self-regulatory skills are associated with a wide variety of personal problems. The aim of the article is to show that the common denominator to the category of success is consistency in self-regulation. The article deals with the issues of self-regulation disorders and the consequences of its disfunction.
