It is carried out a comparative historical and cultural analysis of the Olympic sports of ancient Greece and modern sport of top achievements. The problem of the essence of competitive relations and their specific character in the sport is analyzed It is considered the question of historical perspectives of sport of top achievements. It is shown that modern sport has a social and cultural potential, comparable with what was inherent in the sport in ancient Greece. |
