Rezumat

Advise-counselling work with teachers and parents is a very important approach used by the school psychologist, following the aim of improving the education-teaching process. It promotes the development of a good setting for personality growth and learners’ self-determination at every age stage, as well as it prevents in time possible infringements in intellectual growth and in the process of becoming a personality. The psychologist helping teachers with questions concerning development, education and learning through psycho-counselling makes popular and clarifies psychological facts and phenomena through means of advise-counselling work. He also shapes the need of psychological knowledge, the aspiration to use it while working with children and following the purpose of self-development.
