The purpose of the paper is to demonstrate the importance of kinesiotherapy in the recovery of the patient, as independent as possible. This therapy contributes not only to the improvement of the physical condition, but also to the mental tone increase, creation of the selfimage, social reintegration and, why not, turning the patient into a productive individual. A number of 3 patients of different ages, diagnosed with ischemic stroke (CVA), participated in this study. All of them received a kinesiotherapy treatment at home with the following results: increased mobility of the joints, amelioration of joint pain, increased muscle tone (diminution of hypertonia), correction of body alignment and posture, increased control and balance etc. At the end of the study we can conclude that the effectiveness of the healthcare and the correlation with the early application of the kinesiotherapy had a positive impact on the recovery process. The occupational therapy, with its methods of treatment, had an extremely valuable role in the medical recovery of the hemiplegic patient.
