The changes in the higher education of Moldova via the implementation of the objectives in the Bologna process involves the library the restructuring of the informational service activities of its users. Internet and the Web have given impetus to new ways of communication and knowledge sharing. Digital libraries are considered by many to be a key application of Internet and Web technologies. They enable the creation, organization, maintenance, management, access to, sharing and preservation of digital document collections. This article explores the concept of Digital Library, the main stages of structure and constitution. |
