In this article the advantages and problems of distant education are considered. The author is convinced that an equal educational space and distant education in the Republic of Moldova are becoming a reality. It unites educators and their students not only by the noble aim of learning and education, but also by mass initiation to technological and cultural achievements of mankind. The possibilities of the individual and variable training give to the education the democratic nature (democracy), flexibility and mobility, sufficient to all types of human learning, while maintaining a high quality and intelligibility.
