| Rezumat | ||||||
In this paper we discussed an Upper Paleolithic cave site in the Caucasus foothills. Since 1996 a joint team of Georgian, American and Israeli researchers has been involved in systematic archaeological excavations in Dzudzuana. Due to archaeological works there have been discovered three stage of Upper Paleolithic period, but we present only fi nal Upper Paleolithic assemblages, which are characterized by the presence of microgravettes and backed and retouched bladelets. There are many interesting materials too, which will be reported in our paper. |
