In this article, the author analyzes the local laws of the ATU Gagauzia, which create the basis for the development of the region’s economy, highlights positive and negative factors influencing legislative activity of People’s Assembly of Gagauzia. The information base and potential indicators characterizing of the activities of the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia were separately assessed. Based on the assessment of legislative activity, recommendations were developed to improve the process of developing and adopting local laws of Gagauzia supported for developing of regional economy and forming a regional economic policy |
