Politicile statului privind migraţia sunt factorii de bază care contribuie la determinarea tendinţelor în domeniul migraţiei, însă, concomitent, şi schimbarea tendinţelor de migraţie pot duce la schimbarea politicilor naţionale. Toate statele se confruntă cu două chestiuni majore în materie de reglementare juridică a proceselor de migraţie: reglementarea numărului şi tipului de migranţi şi intervenţiile în scopul modifi cării situaţiei migranţilor în interiorul ţării. Migraţia internaţională este strîns legată de procesele de dezvoltare ale economiei mondiale şi rezultatele interacţiunii şi corelaţiei dintre ele sunt numeroase şi complexe. Volumul, tipul şi caracteristicile curentelor migratorii, cât şi politicile naţionale în domeniu, sunt rezultate ale conjucturii politice, economice şi sociale.

The state politics concern migration are the basic factors which contribute in determination of the migration field tendencies, however, simultaneously with the modification of the migration tendencies it might lead to the modification of the national politics. All the states are facing two major problems in the legal settlement of the migration process: settlement of the number and type of migrants and the countries’ interventions, having the goal to change the situation of the migrants inside the country. The international migration is tightly connected with the process of global economy development and the results of interaction and correlation between them are numerous and complex. The volume, the type and the characteristics of the migratory flows, as well as the national politics in this fi led, are the results of political, economical and social conjunctures.

Государственная политика в отношении миграции является главным фактором в определении тенденций развития миграционных процессов. Вместе с тем, изменение самих тенденций в миграционных процессах ведут к изменению государственной политики в этой области. Все государства сталкиваются с двумя главными проблемами относительно правового регулирования миграционных процессов: регулирование числа и видов мигрантов и, с другой стороны, вмешательство с целью изменения статуса мигрантов внутри самой страны. Международные миграционные процессы тесно связаны с процессами мирового экономического развития и взаимоотношения и взаимодействие самих этих процессов многочисленны и разнообразны. Объем, тип и характеристика миграционных потоков, а также национальные политики в этой области, являются результатами политической, экономической и социальной конъюнктуры.
