Rezumat

Language and country studies are closely related. Therefore foreign language learning is always studied along with country studies and vice versa. Country studies component plays a unique role in foreign language classroom. The Internet offers different sources in country studies such as authentic texts for reading, audio-material, video-material, etc. The Internet is considered the leading source of information for modern society and has a great value in educational process. The issues and perspectives of the internet usage in country studies class are presented in this article. Different Internet sources offering some important information in sports, politics, mass media, culture, and music of Germany are also listed and described in the article.
