Articolul dezvoltă ideea analizei cognitive a limbajului non-verbal în acţiunea teatrală. În cadrul cercetării a fost efectuată extrapolarea teoriei metaforei conceptuale (J. Lakoff — M. Johnson) la limbajul acţiunii scenice. Materialul studiului a fost constituit din spectacolele unor regizori. Studiul conceptelor în baza imaginilor scenice permite autorului să interpreteze principiul interacţiunii dintre formele lingvistice şi mitice de gândire ca un proces de transformare a metaforei conceptuale în simbol conceptual.

The article developed the idea of cognitive analysis of the the non-verbal language in the theatrical action. In the framework of the study, the theory of conceptual metaphor by G. Lakoff and M. Johnson was extrapolated to the language of stage action. The material of the study consisted of the performances of several directors. Having analyzed the concepts based on scenic images, the author could interpret the principle of interaction between the linguistic and mythical forms of thinking as a process of transforming the conceptual metaphor into a conceptual symbol.
