Rezumat | |||||||
Th e monumentalist policy of the Soviet state left a legacy, which is represented in the capital of a large number of sculptures. Aft er 1991 the post-Soviet society’s attitude towards the monuments of that period is not unambiguous. But it is undeniably one of the most important tasks that has to be done in the fi eld of culture is the preservation and safeguarding of cultural heritage of the country. Transition periods in history are oft en accompanied by destruction of cultural potential, its degradation and demolition. To avoid adverse consequences, it is necessary to know the historical and cultural context in which the phenomenon of Soviet culture was born and evolved. Th at’s why it is necessary to appreciate the heritage of that period, and to conclude, if we possess the typological objects, which are not of historical and cultural interest and can not be assigned as valuable for the development of tourism in our country or have something valuable. |
