Our article is devoted to one of the key events of the history of the Gagauz people - the Gagauz referendum, which was held February 2, 2014. The referendum summoned a lot of discussions and received an ambiguous assessment. Local residents expressed their opinion on 3 questions: the adoption of the draft law of the ATO Gagauzia "On the deferred status of the people of Gagauzia to external self-determination"; Moldova's entry into the Customs Union (Russia-Belarus-Kazakhstan); Moldova's entry into the EU. |
