The article examines the role of the history of the Turkic world in shaping the image of the past of the Gagauz people in the context of the problems of teaching history in pre-university educational institutions of Gagauzia. Since the 30s of the twentieth century, the historiosophical concept has been inscribed in the history of the Gagauz in the history of the Turkic world. Throughout the twentieth century, the attitude of the Gagauz towards the Ottoman Empire and Turkey has changed: from emphasizing the oppression of the Gagauz in the Balkans to recognizing the Turks as a people, fraternal Gagauz. However, the inclusion of the history of the Gagauz world in the history of the Turkic world is still symbolic. Additional measures are needed to study the Turkic world. |
