The advanced technologies have promoted new approaches to translating and adapting news stories for local mass audience: a new legitimate role in the newsroom is opened for the journalator, a journalist-translator who transadapts the recycled/mediated news. Some characteristics of shared news would be described by the laws of proximity; an urge or necessity explained by geographic proximity interest, chronological, psycho-affective and social proximity. Localisation is a concept that applies to different products and goods made culturally, linguistically appropriate, including the news digestible and useful for the local audience. Framing is referring to an active strategy that interferes in the translation process of news, which includes the journalator’s biased attitude, or even newsroom policy and worldview. The translator becomes indeed invisible in a newsroom, which means intellectual propriety rights cannot be claimed or required to be observed in terms of attribution of merits, but also that could be a convenient status for undercover ideological bias propaganda, or a trivial unsanctioned spread of erroneous information that could do much damage.
