The problem of the stigmatization in psychiatry is one of the most important ethical issues in the practice of providing psychiatric care. Currently, the diagnosis of a mental disorder continues to carry an increased negative socio-ethical burden. For psychiatric patients, this often manifests itself in a decrease in public trust, infringement of dignity, restriction of rights and stigmatization. This significantly affects the quality of the life of patients, causes less appeal to psychiatrists and negatively affects the course and prognosis of the disease. |
