| Rezumat | ||||||
In this paper, we have tried to highlight how recent discoveries in the field of genetics have become increasingly applicable to the study of human behaviors, especially those related to aggression. These studies have not yet reached the stage that would even target the genetic modification of behaviors, but already the genetic identification of certain behaviors is possible and genetic selection practices are being developed in order to obtain predetermined behaviors. This genetic selection has major ethical implications regarding the consequences of such possible practices that are used to create genetically „augmented” societies. Also, in these conditions, the present study re-evaluates the role that education still has in relation to genetic factors in the formation of certain social behaviors. |
