Spondylosis, spondylartrosis and spondylo-discarthrose define the presence of a degenerative, arthritic spine process. The fact that these segments only exercise their activity under hyperpressed circumstances and orthostatism is the first example, explains the high frequency indicators. In the etiology of vertebral osteoarthritis intervene factors that can be found in the onset of osteoarthritis in general. Age (the phenomenon of depreciation), microtraumas, static disorders, congenital malformations, previous vertebral diseases, professional and sports overwork are the most important factors. The osteoarthritic process affects the disco-vertebral joint, posterior interapophyseal joints (AIP) or even the spinals. |
