PCT System consolidating 112 States -
Parties is tackled with various problems and
difficulties connected with an accelerated
increasing of the international applications
number. That is why it is very important and
necessary to make the patent system more
efficient and to harmonize it in the international
level, to decrease expenses of the
applicants and Patent Offices.
Hence, USA elaborated propositions on the
PCT reform which would be realized in two
stages. The first one will consist in the
simplification of some proceedings and
compliance with the PLT requirements. The
second stage consists in providing multilateral
revision of the integral PCT system.
Opinions referred to the PCT reform first
stage will be anilized by a working group
with a scope of elaborate some propositions
for the modification of the Treatment articles
and Regulations for implementation thereof. |
