Rezumat | ||||||
This article talks about people who have become infected and affected by the HIV / AIDS virus, how difficult it is for them to carry this burden and how they are treated by society. Experts say that people living with HIV in the Republic Moldova is discriminated against both by medical workers and by ordinary people. HIV-infected young people face widespread discrimination that prevents many of them from attending school and receiving the necessary medical care. Violations of privacy are frequent and rarely punished. The level of information and the capacity of society to respond to the challenge of HIV / AIDS in Moldova needs to be improved through infor-mation and awareness campaigns to create a flow of positive opinions for respect for rights and equal treatment for people living with HIV / AIDS. |
