Academic Readings on the Day of the Romanian Language appears as the credit lines of a traditional series of homage manifestations dedicated to the Romanian Language at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Moldova, within which, along the years, most celebrated personalities expressed their position upon the role the Romanian language plays in the assertion of national identity, especially against the background of the social and political changes which have a profound influence upon culture and, equally, upon the dynamics of the language.
