The issue of professionalization and training of civil servants is a topic that has aroused more and more interest in recent years, this being one of the directions of action both at European and national level. It consists in increasing the capacity of public administration, which aims, among others, to develop new skills in relation to trends in vocational training and technological development. The article addresses this issue from the perspective of performance-based management, as well as the development of skills based on organizational needs and the objective of increasing the quality of public services provided by public administration in line with citizens’ expectations. The training system must be based on three components: competence, professional performance, and conduct. |
