The aim of the work was to study the possibility of applying the benzidine test in sows to diagnose Stomach Ulcers. The post-slaughter diagnostics of Stomach ulcer and determination of hidden blood in sows' feces were carried out. The high efficiency of benzidine test as a diagnostic test of Stomach ulcer in sows at its early stages is established. At the transition of the disease to the chronic course and at scarring of ulcers its effectiveness decreases. Determination of hidden blood in the feces of pigs requires productive approbation and introduction into the practice of diagnostic research of veterinary service of pig farms. |
