The sociology of the translated literature in our country is characterized by two particular tendencies: to the differenciation and to the global synthesis. Producing a synthesis of the effectuated translations in our country up to our days, we can see that many of our writers – A.Cosmescu, I. Cretu, A. Busuioc, A. Cupcea-Josu, P. Carare, etc....have a great contribution to the interpretation of foreign writers of distinction in the Romanian language and to the spreading of their creations among readers, of the spiritual values created by the greatest representatives of the world literature. Throughout many years there have been translated many literary works of various genres and types of literature from the language of origin or from the intermediary the third language. The tendency of the translated literature in our country for the differenciation is conditioned by the historical tendencies, the friendship relations, of the neighbourhood between countries, the publishing policy, the preferences of readers, etc.
