Rezumat

The aim of the paper is to determine the most effective methods and means of action for the development of motor quality, endurance in high school students and to determine their motor level. In the study we start from the hypothesis that studying the literature in the country and abroad, we will highlight the most effective methods and means of action needed to develop endurance in high school students. One of the research methods we used in the study is the method of studying the literature, through which we will highlight the methods and means of developing motor endurance quality, information that is the necessary scientific support for conducting an elaborate research that we propose to achieve it. The observation method allowed us to directly analyze the results obtained from the application of methods and means of action for the development of endurance, which we used as a teacher, in physical education lessons and training of the representative athletics team. The theoretical analysis shows that endurance is a motor quality that manifests itself in different forms, characterized by the number of muscle groups engaged in exertion (local physical endurance or general physical endurance), by the required mechanisms (aerobic endurance, anaerobic endurance) or by quality physical demands (speed resistance, force resistance, long-term endurance). In conclusion, the development of endurance motor quality can be achieved in the physical education lesson, specific training with the representative athletics team, adapting the methods to the level of age, training, conditions and the proposed goal.
