Rezumat

Aqua gel of the polysilicate acid and variety of amorphous SiO2, received from the solutions, in dependence on degree of purities, development of surface, dispersion and so on have many branches of using. Aqua gel received in this way is constant during the time and in one litre contains 16-20g SiO2; specific surface area SiO2 without special treatment and dried at the temperature 300ºC reaches at 550 sq.m/g; the distribution of particles in this case is the following: up to 4.1μm-10%, 30μm-50%, 146μm-90%. Reserves of serpentinized ultrabasic rocks in the Republic of Armenia are in exhaustible. Tempered up to various temperatures, aqua gel applied for cleaning of municipal and industrial wastewater in the station of cleaning “Aeracia” of Yerevan city. The wastewater undertook on an input and on an output from station of cleaning. The wastewater before clearing was passed through a layer of aqua gel. The belowmentioned parameters of wastewater were measured: chemical consumption of oxygen (CCO), transparency (Tr), contents of the weighed particles (CWP). The data are given in the tables. The wastewater was passed through aqua gel of various quantity. The differences of meanings of parameters of wastewater are given in the tables: △CCO, △Tr, △CWP. Other parameters of wastewater (рН, dissolved oxygen, contents of Cl-, SO4 2-) did not change almost at application of aqua gel. Such our data show that aquagel is obtained of Armenian material can be used successfully for wastewaters purification. This material has very low cost price.
