The author underlines the impact of the global turmoil on the M&A transactions. Although M&A deals present strong potential growth opportunities for corporate - for regulators, these deals raise competition issues. The outlook of M&A deals for the year 2011 seems to reflect a renewed confidence in the market activity, however there still remains jeopardizing factors that must be treated carefully both by corporations and regulators. |
