Rezumat

The day before the Soviet Union collapse, the Kremlin leadership applied different maintaining measures in its sphere of influence which was in those republics that could become independent. The Republic of Moldova also was among these republics and especially the territory between Prut and Dniester (Bessarabia) that could reunite with Romania. All these measures were possible just through the famous KGB. On September 2, 1990 it was proclaimed the dniester moldavian republic with the capital in Tiraspol. That republic had to protect and promote the Russian interests, to maintain the Republic of Moldova linked with Moscow and to assure the Russian military and political presence at the NATO and UE borders. The security device had an important role in those actions.
