Background. Sequelae period has uncertain clinical outcome, caused by formation of deformities, the posttraumatic instability, the degradation of osteosynthesis, adhesions with spinal compression consequences. These traumatisms are from 10% to 48 % of all vertebral pathology. Objective of the study. Evaluation of principles and tactics in surgical treatment and complex rehabilitation of patients with posttraumatic sequellae. Material and Methods. During 2004-2019 has been done surgical interventions to 52 patients using methods of decompresive, vertebroectomy, foraminectomy with stabilizaton in both surgical approaches of affected segments, followed by complex conservative treatment. Score Frankel-ASIA, Oswestry, SF-36 was used to assess functional outcome with average recoil from 4 months to 5 years. Results. Most patients 48(92,3%) of 52, unable to work, score FrankelASIA, have been done surgical reinterventions done from 8 months to 8 years, in average 2,2±0,4 years. Was obtained partial or total regression of neurological symptoms, spinal pain syndrome relief. Full neurological regression has been achieved 12(23,0%) patients, reached until 10 months terms. Good and satisfactory results - 32(61,5%) patients regarding Oswestry, SF-36 score. Conclusion. Reconstruction of medullar canal with stabilization permits early activation of the patient, with prevention of complications like trophic, urinary, pulmonary and cardiovascular. Complex rehabilitation with stable verticalization allows patients a better life quality and psychological restoration |
