| Rezumat | ||||||
The article examines the socio-economic situation in the rural communities of the post-Soviet countries. The situation is analyzed on the basis of empirical data obtained as a result of sociological observation conducted in 2016–2017. in rural communities of the Mogilev region (Republic of Belarus). To reform rural development, it is proposed to develop sustainable development strategies for local rural communities, and not just for the country and large region. In addition, it is important to take into account the socio-cultural characteristics of rural communities, which continue to determine the economic behavior of rural residents. |
