Rezumat

The outside world is becoming more technical and artificial at a very fast pace, and the school, to a certain extent, must keep up with this dynamic. Up to a point, it has to absorb them and use them for its own benefit. At the same time, it must preserve areas of naturalness, to provide students with direct knowledge by observing the real world. The educational function of new technologies is twofold: on the one hand, it facilitates and helps education if carefully integrated into educational practices; on the other hand, it generates the need for new skills to be developed by educational institutions. At the same time, the integration of new technologies in education leads to a recalibration or adaptation of traditional teaching methodologies through recontextualization, modernization, and innovation. Technology "leads" the teaching methodology along the new pieces. The new does not exclude the old, but invokes it, summons it, challenges it. The relationship between technology and education is becoming more and more dynamic. On the one hand, we are witnessing a permanent and unprecedented evolution of technology, which requires new skills, behaviors, and attitudes. On the other hand, the degree of absorption of technology is evolving at a fast pace. Thus, the relationship between the two “dynamics” becomes much more complex. Current information and communication technologies build a new reference of learning, the one conveyed or “created” by the virtual world. It is no less important than the classic contents, many of them being "doubled" by virtual variants. Children represent the future of a society, which is why it is important for them to acquire the skills necessary to live decently in society. Given technology can be a source of distraction, programs implemented in schools should aim to provide the student with an interactive, rich, and varied learning experience that helps them become more disciplined and informed.
