| Rezumat | ||||||
We introduced the notions of prime, semiprime and strongly prime bi-ideals
in ternary semigroups. The space of strongly prime bi-ideals is topologized.
We characterize dierent classes of ternary semigroups by the properties of
their quasi-ideals and bi-ideals. We also characterize those ternary semi-
groups for which each bi-ideal is strongly prime.
