229 chalcid species of fam. Eulophidae, belonging to 51 genera, were found on the territory of Stavropol region. Out of them 102 species turned out to be new for the fauna of Russia, 93 species — new for the North Caucasus. News for science species — Kolopterna grahami Kostjukov et Khomchenko, 2004, Aprostocetus jakovuki Kostjukov et Kosheleva (in litt.), Baryscapus stsherbakovi Kostjukov et Kosheleva (in litt.), Baryscapus michailenkoae Kostjukov et Kosheleva (in litt.), Oomyzus junusovi Kostjukov et Kosheleva (in litt.) and genus Stepanovia Kostjukov, 2002, which includes three species, discovered here: S.avetjanae Kostjukov, S.eurytomae Nees and S.aurantiacus Ratzeburg, were described. One genus is new for the science, 14 genera — new for the fauna of Russia. Tetrastichinae subfamily turned out to be the richest in species (126). In the Asian part of the region arid-oriented species, groups of species and genera, most of which are not known in science and need to be described, are widely represented. |
