Rezumat

The research reflects the analysis of the phenomenon of domestic vio-lence as a pressing problem in society and the role of multidisciplinary teams in assisting women victims of domestic violence. The analysis of the conceptual approaches regarding domestic violence, the causes, the forms of violence, and the consequences of this phe-nomenon was performed. The essence of the multidisciplinary team, the procedures for setting up the multidisciplinary teams, the responsibilities and attributions of the mem-bers, their significance in assisting women victims of domestic violence were defined. The realization of the experimental study allowed to ascertain the role of multidisciplinary teams in the assistance of women victims of domestic violence, to reflect the good prac-tices of the specialized service of the Public Institution Family Crisis Center "SOTIS".
