Prezentăm descrierea şi analiza rezultatelor tratamentului al otitelor medii exudative (OME). Trei grupe de copiii cu OME au fost trataţi după diferite scheme de tratament. I grupa a urma adenotomie, II – adenotomie şi tratamentul conservator, III - timpanostomie şi adenotomie. Otoscopie, audiometrie şi impedansmetrie constata dinamica undulată a stării urechii medii în primele 2 grupe. Am observat ameliorare graduală (primele 2 - 3 luni) şi agravare progresivă a stării urechii medii în primele 2 grupe. Cele mai pozitive şi stable resultate au fost inregistrate după timpanostomie şi adenotomie.

We presented the description and analysis of the results of treatment of otitis media with effusion (OME). Three groups of children suffered from OME were managed by different methods of treatment. I group underwent adenoidectomy, II - adenoidectomy and conservative treatment and III - tympanostomy and adenoidectomy. Otoscopy, audiometry and impedance audiometry examination revealed undulating dynamic of middle ear status in the first two groups. We observed gradual improvement (first 2 - 3 months) and progressive worsening of middle ear status in both groups. The most positive and stable results were registered after tympanostomy with adenoidectomy.
