It is proved that the main parameter that determines the development of negative processes is the area of the reservoir’s mirror. The area of the reservoir mirror determines flooding, the volume of evaporation from the water surface, abrasion of the shores development of blue-green algae, eutrophication of reservoirs. The use of performance parameters (free flow, accumulation coefficient, energy potential, energy efficiency of a mirror of reservoirs, morphometric eutrophication factor) is justified. The best parameters for the efficiency of reservoir use have been determined the Danube, and the worst - for the Dnieper. |
