| Rezumat | ||||||
Osteoporosis is a disease of bones that leads to the increase of the bone fragility and the risk of bone fractures. The author has applied a treatment with a medicine from the 1rst generation of the bisphosphonate family – Bonefos i/v (Clodronate), with a dose of 300 mg per 24/h, for a duration of 5 days, to a number of 57 patients. A patient has been administrated 4 treatment courses for a period of 6 years, and some 9 patients have been administrated 2 treatment courses for a period 23 years. The medicine has proved to be effective, long lasting and with an excellent tolerance. |
