Rezumat | ||||||
Viral hepatitis C is a significant problem for patients on hemodialysis. According to the literature in Romania, in 174 studied patients 39,2% were positive for anti-HCV antibodies, in Macedonia – 24.2%, in Turkey – 20.2%, respectively. The study of the level of infection with viral hepatitis C in hemodialysed patients from Republic of Moldova have shown that 40,7% were positive to anti-HCV antibodies and in 79.2% of those positive patients were detected IgM anti-HCV. Thus, hemodialysis patients represent one of the groups at high risk of infection with viral hepatitis C. |
