The introduction of the mechanism of fi nancing on the basis of complexity of cases may cause the creation of incentives for providers of hospital services, to strengthen health care. The tactics to take the relative values of countries with experience in this fi eld is specifi c for all those countries that have decided to implement the method of DRG fi nancing. However, this solution should be regarded as a temporary one, the future trend is creating your own relative values because health systems differ from one country to another and therefore, can appear incomplete fi nancing situations or over fi nancing for certain Diagnostics Groups.
