Existence of repetitions behavior, obsessions and routines is one of the preliminary conditions for communication disorders diagnosis. These behaviors are also called “stereotypic behaviors”. They could be found in children suffering from autism, although not always. Most of people have kinds of repetitions in behaviors- like nail biting, pencil trimming, constant cleaning, and watching soap opera on TV. The frequency of such behaviors is the one that could distinguish the normative from the nonnormative form, and also the way a person could control these repetitions. The author tries to discuss behavioral disorders and the methods of reducing them. |
