The results of our scientific researches demonstrated that inheritance of the mutation y1 (white endosperm) is similar to a simple recessive, as well as a negative influence of this pigmentalless mutation on expression of the weight, volume and total absence of the carotine content in wx1 white grain in comparing with wx1 yellow grain. The use of the y1 recessive mutation in breeding of maize has shown the possibility to create the value inbred lines and hybrids wx1 with white corns and high quality of amilopectin starch. |
