T he article is dedicated to the issues of multilingualism as a societal phenomenon, namely, the status and roles of the languages in the society, attitudes towards languages, determinants of language choice, the symbolic and practical uses of languages. Multilingual communication is an increasingly important social phenomena. The authors determine the features of the correlation between the translation as a science and practical activity in the
framework of multilingual translation competence presented side by side with grammar and communicative ones. |
