Rezumat

The present article, entitled „The writer Nicolae Dabija through the lens of generations of the generations of readers of 21st", deals with the subject of the presence of Nicolae Dabija's works among the reading preferences of 21st century readers. In the introductory part, you can find general information about the writer's activity on a national and international level, as well as about his work. I also analyzed, briefly, what is the profile of the contemporary reader, a profile that is totally different from the readers of other times, one of the causes being mass technology and little concern for reading artistic literature. In this article, I analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively a questionnaire made with students from the "Mihai Eminescu" and "Ioan Vodă" Theoretical High Schools in the city of Cahul, regarding the availability and choice of Nicolae Dabija's work for reading both in Romanian language and literature classes, but also by free choice. The results are presented and analyzed through the lens of objectivity and deep research of the proposed subject. In conclusion, aspects are highlighted about the theme treated by Nicolae Dabija in his work, his way of writing and outlining the actions, as well as the experiences of the characters, which are fully felt by contemporary student readers.
