<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'><p>The article is devoted to the analysis of the fundamental right of the person to a decent standard of living through the lens of the subjective right theory. Based on the essential elements of subjective right the fundamental right of the person to a decent standard of living, guaranteed both internationally and constitutionally, is characterized and appreciated. In conclusion, it is emphasized that despite the constitutional enshrinement of the right to a decent standard of living, its holders/beneficiaries are deprived of the prerogative of its protection/defense.</p></description>
