The aim of educational methodology of discipline Artistic Weaving consists in provision of a high level of textile designers’ education and the corresponding quality of their projects, of tapestries. During pedagogical experiments, the author proposes modern problem-solving ways providing realization of this aim. Nowadays the solution of this problem is seen in carrying out modernization of art education as consisted with the specified tasks of students training, highly qualified specialists in decorative art. The decorative composition is the bases of methodology application in the process of the students professional training in the course ”Artistic Tapestry” and especially of artistic creativity development.
