The last four years, when the pandemic broke out, the war in Ukraine started, the economic and energy crisis started, we all realized how important it is to be emotionally strong, to be able to face continuous distress and to identify ways of adapting to situations that seem hopeless. All the more, I realized the importance of developing these skills in children, teenagers and young people. This task is largely the responsibility of the education system. Fortunately, for many of us, it is psychological resilience that has helped us to see the other side of the glass, to see the positives in the chaos we have found ourselves in, and to continue to enjoy life despite all the bad, barriers and emotional blockages. The governments of the world are increasingly and more insistently talking about the protection of humanity, the support and socio-economic development, including through the protection of the environment and the creation of an educational ecosystem resilient to various adversities. |
