Rezumat

The article is dedicated to the study of a new forage plant for the Republic of Moldova - sand sparcetain order to diversify the forage base in animal husbandry. Research shows that this plant has a fairly high content of crude protein - from 15,25 to 18,39 % non-nitrogenous extractive substances -40,82 – 44,72%, carotene - up to 45,5 mg / kg and can be successfully used in animal rations both as a green mass and in the form of hay.
